does most of the stuff on that pre-date Red Apple Falls? I've always thought of RAF as the point where I climb aboard the smog train, while everything prior can just keep on rolling by.

The inner sleeve of A:N actually contains a handy chart that shows where all of the material on it came from; the short answer is that most of the stuff on there is from right in that era, with some before and some after. Scroll to the third pic in this instagram post:
