I'm pretty sure in that pretentious film he said if they wanted to get back together in 5 years they would. He also seems quite genuine if you're paying attention to him; I think he felt like it was over then...but he always left the door open on a return when the money ran out

Eh, whatever...I don't claim to have a handle on his personal motivations, nor am I offended by whatever they may be as I'm just beyond thrilled to have new LCD music coming and a chance to see them live for the first time hopefully. But as far as I run my own life I know I ain't currently sitting at this desk for fucking free...because living costs money.

both songs were in heavy rotation this weekend for me. i think i like american dream better, those synths are awesome. i was anticipating this album much, but these songs have me pumped for it!

This may be my favorite record of theirs. Sound of Silver is pretty stacked with amazing songs, but this is wonderful (and the songs more often fit my favorite kind of LCD songs). "I Used To" has jumped to the top of the heap.
