I fully expect 'Everything' to come back around and overtake Infinite Arms at some point. For some reason Infinite Arms was just one of those perfect album and the perfect time kinda things. It knocked me off my feet.

'Everything' is still such a majestic record, it feels weird defending a different album against it. Those first three records each tickle a different itch in satisfying ways.

These guys are playing down the street tonight and I have a free ticket and despite loving some of their older stuff I lost touch with them completely. Should I still go?

Yes, yes you should. Never turn down free tickets to anything there's a chance you'll actually enjoy.

Saw these guys tonight. Outdoor show on the riverfront, lovely breezy night -- and I got my tickets for free! I was a little worried the set would be dominated by material from the last two records (which I'm not very familiar with), but 90% of it was from the first three albums. When they opened with "Monsters" I knew it was going to be a good night. Favorite songs of the night were probably "No One's Gonna Love You," "Marry Song," and "Older." Forgot how much I like these guys.

I was going to post in this thread wondering if you were at this show KD. I was there with my sister and girlfriend. They opened with Monsters which was really all I needed. The band sounded good.

Surprised my daughter for her 10th bday with tickets to their show in San Diego back in November. She loved every bit of it from the front rail. Cigarettes, Wedding Bands was fucking awesome. Fun show. Had a great trip out there. In Need of Repair and Aftermath stand out from the new album. Simply just good music.
