There’re playing here in Dublin on Sunday. Under some new guise.

Weird.

That's The Messthetics, which has Fugazi's drummer and bassist in it.

Right. I’m not interested anyways. Saw them back in 95 and 97 as an ed zombie, loving whatever he told us to love. They’re good but I’m way too old for that sorta thing now

Actually, I'd say just watch Instrument. It's one of the best music docs of all time.

Top 5 performances by Joe Lally on the bass. Go.

Big fan of The Argument and 13 Songs but End Songs needs to go into rotation. Recap Modotti is killer.

Did you leave out 'Waiting Room' and 'Cashout' because they seemed too obvious? Those are my fav. Lally performances.

Both are awesome songs!

Waiting Room is great but it suffers from being on an album I never listen to anymore; we talked about it a couple pages back, but I have a tough time connecting with anything before Red Medicine because the recordings are pretty crappy.

And then I think Cashout is a catalog highlight, but I guess I don’t think of it as a bass-focused track.

I loved this band but don't really feel the need to revisit.

The new song is good. I seemed to remember hearing about this new group a few years ago.
