Well, seems they are releasing Welcome 2 America on July! He was about to release this one and then shelved it. Also the deluxe edition will feature a 2011 show a The Forum dvd.
For its first single, it feels super funky and chill.

Love how they threw that Forum show in to rope me in to buying another deluxe edition.
But this is really exciting, especially when combined with The Truth getting a Record Store Day release not long before this.

The bass is phat. So happy for Tal. She has been stifling her excitement for this album since, what, 2011? Finally we get to hear her lay it down. Sounds great.
I enjoyed the second half more than the first. The title track in particular is a little too sassy and out of touch for mine.

I've never been a prince fan, but a friend of mine dragged me to a show (in 06 I think) and it's still one of the best shows I've ever been to. Absolutely amazing.
