Ouch. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have a partner.

You sonofabitch, I did not need that song stuck in my head.

I kinda hate Keidis but I love the tunes the other three have produced.

Oh Kiedis is a goof. But I couldn’t imagine another singer with them.

Agreed. No one else would ever fit. His early spastic energy is the perfect compliment to Flea’s incredible energy, and later on Keidis’s singing voice sort of fit wonderfully with how Frusciante played with the Chili Peppers. I can’t imagine them with anyone else there.

It's a pointless exercise because Flea and Keidis are basically brothers, but I can definitely imagine a better vocalist having fronted the Chilis.

Like what are you picturing? All ding dang dongs aside, he does a great job of delivering a single (not multi-tracked) vocal that delivers frat-boy bravado raps and melodic drug addict insights in equal parts. I mean seriously, it’s a high wire act, particularly from BSSM onward, and he mostly knocks it out of the park...

Also, at 40 years old I think I’m finally in a place where I’m ready to just embrace kiedis for who he is, rather than be slightly embarrassed by my fandom

Patton with pecs. For the sake of the pointless exercise.

Perry Farrell takes over at By the Way and we're still winning. Sorry, Trag.

I love Kiedis. Yeah both Mike and Perry are also great, but his is perfect for this band.

Scar Tissue was an enthralling read, but I left thinking he was a giant douche. A selfish fuck up who owes literally everything to Flea.

i never read it, i'm sure i'd have a similar take. I do want to read Flea's book though.

It's worth it for the insight into the band. I'll leave it at that.

I love´s Anthony´s book. The guys has and had a super weird life. All of those guys seem super difficult, Flea included. The only one who seem super chill is Chad.

He even said it to Rolling Stone, im the only one who hadnt had a breakdown, got some drug issue or else.
