To the surprise of absolutely no one, "The Heavy Wing" sucks live. That one is asking entirely too much of John's pipes.

With an album of material I am still getting acquainted with, I haven’t even had the slightest urge to listen to anything off the one coming next week, which will make the whole thing a nice new listening experience.

In saying that poster child and black summer didn’t blow me away. And Unlimited Love turned out to be a great album.

I did listen to My Cigarette and it's very different for them. Has a completely electronic drum beat and several synths. Extremely laid back.

My cigarette is a good representation of what’s in store imho.

This album is a lot more melodic than Unlimited Love. I would say John wrote most of these. It’s more playful and electronic in its sound. The songs have a bit more space. John defo sings more backing vocals on this one.


Fake As Fuck, Reach Down, Carry me Home(Hendrix) In The Snow are early favs

It’s like Stadium Arcadium disc 2 Defo a different beast and a more relaxed album compared to Unlimited Love. Very different to what we have heard before.

If you liked Heavy Wing you will love Carry Me Home.

This will be a grower
