Holy fuckballs, what a show. Probably the second best show I've seen all year (second only to Mingus Big Band), which puts it in the running for Favorite Show Ever. This band is amazing. It was a very meaningful and emotional night for me-- I'm filled with joy and gratitude, for those wonderful songs and the wonderful people who were with me, singing along. What a show. What a band. I don't have the words right now.

This is a band comprised of a bunch of guys over 50. They could easily-- easily!!!-- do the Who thing and play a straightforward 90-minute set of just crowd-pleasing hits. Instead, they put in a hell of an effort, and they deliver over 3 hours of passionate performances a die-hard would love, AND they throw in the hits as well. It's remarkable.

So would anybody be willing to debate on "Lovesong" being the weakest song "Disintegration"?
I prefer it to "Lullaby", to be honest.
Those two have always been my least favorite. But I like the strings and his vocal delivery on "Lullaby". Although I can see the vocal delivery been a turnoff for some. The only other song that comes to mind is "Last Dance". Not that fond of the first 45 seconds or so, but once it starts rolling, it's pretty stellar.
I love "Untitled". It's like landing on a soft pillow after the torment of what came before it. I love the lyrics and the slight breaks in his voice. The reflective tone and meandering pace are perfect for the end of the album.
"Disintegration" is probably my 3rd or 4th favorite Cure song.
Yeah, I'm a big fan.
Top 10? I'm positive I'll want to change this tomorrow.
