Just used this to clean my SG and strat:

Fantastic.

Like new baby! Now all i need to do is learn how to fix intonation issues. Maybe some day.

However, anyone know how to do a similar deep clean to the maple neck? Specifically the 52 tele reissue butter scotch blonde maple neck?

I usually just scrub with my fingernails and some cloth but i loved being able to apply thse cleaners to the strat and was wondering if there was something similar as the lemon oil apparently isn't safe.

This is a lot easier than you think it is. The saddle is just making the string longer or shorter. The same thing you do when you fret a note. Get open and 12th fret to be at the same pitch. Done.

Feels like its something htat needs to get setup everytime i get my guitar taken care of. Is that just by nature of the slow warping of a neck?

When does the truss rod come into play?

Wood changes with the weather. Listen to Joe Walsh. He'll tell you all you need to know.

Thinking about getting this:

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... attenuator

Gets fantastic reviews and sounds like it will do exactly what i need.

I absolutely love my Marshall SVC 20 but at 5 watts its still so fucking loud. I dont really ever get the chance to turn it up and enjoy those sweet spots.

Have you considered the Torpedo Captor? It's main function is as a reactive load box for silent recording or as a DI to FOH....but it does also have a -20db attenuator in it. It might check a couple of boxes for you.

Ha. i've been GASing over a captor for years now. I've got access to a ton of great amp sims, free and paid but there's just something so tempting about being able to record my actual amps that excites me.

this is a random gearhead thought....i spend a lot of time looking at real estate on line in different cities..pretty much since covid came along i see a lot of
guitars in the pictures on real estate sites...hanging on the wall or just on a couch..do you think people wanted to learn to play or just want pics to look cool and use them
as wall art?

Bit of both. Acoustics and semi-acoustics just look fantastic. Also maybe the potential buyer will think "yeah I've always wanted to learn guitar/develop a personality".
