Bought a Martin MMV Dreadnought acoustic today. It's a real beaut.

^ that's kind of neat. i'm wondering how obtrusive those little LEDs are

i've recently decided to take the leap into learning drums - not necessarily to become a drummer, but just to become a better songwriter. i live in a townhouse so acoustic drums aren't an option so i ordered an Alesis Nitro electronic kit. don't know how i'm going to fit them into my tiny office/music room but i'm sure i'll figure something out.

First time playing with a "band" in a few years. First time really playing outside of my own living room for awhile. While it was a shit show, it was fun. I miss it.

Here is strat in his natural habitat*.

*in a multi million dollar mansion.

My friends 25th birthday party. Her family is rich. Really rich. 7 million dollar home outside of Vail here, fully catered, open bar, lots of people. I had a blast.

See, I always wonder if I should get a different amp. At least a smaller one. or maybe, something completely different than a fender to try a new sound.

Then i get to play it in a group setting and....NOPE.

I love it.

My talented and lovely girlfriend used to play piano. She doesnt anymore. Im thinking about getting her a nice little home keyboard of sorts to get her going again. Any suggestions?

I’m using a 10 year old $200 Casio. It gets great sounds and is more than enough for my non-adequate playing.

I managed to snag a Rockerverb 50 MKI for a price i couldn't refuse yesterday. My god it sounds incredible at bedroom volume, i can't wait to hear what it sounds like with the band.

But....it looks like i'm probably gonna have to sell off one of my other amps to justify it :( .
