I feel like he's trying so hard for a commercial break through that he's getting lost as an artist. Nearly everything I loved about the first three TGA and the Horrible Crows album seems absent.

Dave Hause is one of my favorite artists, I swear every time I listen to his songs I end up picking up a guitar.
He -sorta- sings backup to Brian Fallon in this version of SOLAT.
And totally agree that Brian and Gaslight are almost focusing more on selling albums and making money, as opposed creating something amazing. still got respect tho, Brian Fallon's acoustic stuff is very good, as is Dave Hause's.
Devour, Dave's new album. Its tight.

I love the last Gaslight record and I don't think he is trying to sell more records I think he is just doing what he likes and maybe letting aside what people think he has to be.
The fist single of the new record, Very a la Springsteen IMO
His solo songs are really starting to grow on me. I liked A Wonderful Life from the beginning, but the other two took a while for me. Excited to see the rest of this album and see him live later this month.
Brian's solo album is fantastic, though I certainly didn't think that after the first listen. More singer/songwriter driven to me, and this article made me like the album even more
likes rhythmic things that butt up against each other

Brian Fallon said his the last gaslight album is their "no code" but it sounds more like Backspacer, which means they skipped the cool part of imitating pearl jam. his solo album is actually alright until you listen a Bruce Springsteen record afterwards.

Listened to the album again in the car today, it worked well with pouring rain and a cooler temp. It is definitely a more stripped down affair overall for him and not as solid all the way through like the previous two full length efforts but You Have Stolen My Heart is gorgeous and I'm just glad he keeps putting something out every few years.

I’m really enjoying it. He went out on tour by himself in 2018 with just him, a guitar, and a piano and I really enjoyed the show. I imagine that’s what inspired him to strip it down even more.
Definitely liking it more than Sleepwalkers. I liked Painkillers overall.
I find myself spinning Local Honey a lot. Snagged the 45 RPM Club singles from the Archive, less Halloween and I hope Fallon tosses out some kind of primarily acoustic live release at some point.

I don't see a new Gaslight album coming ever. I've come around to parts of Get Hurt but I feel it will continue to be the send-off to that part of Brian's career.

really? never again? omg
last BF album was good, but i need the band back
talking about Get Hurt, i think that its too long
i would keep:
Stay Vicious 1000 years Get Hurt Stray Paper Rollin and Tumblin Break your heart Dark Places
and add Have Mercy
not sure about the rest, a 10 song LP would be pretty good
