I don't see a new Gaslight album coming ever. I've come around to parts of Get Hurt but I feel it will continue to be the send-off to that part of Brian's career.
really? never again? omg
last BF album was good, but i need the band back
talking about Get Hurt, i think that its too long
i would keep:
Stay Vicious 1000 years Get Hurt Stray Paper Rollin and Tumblin Break your heart Dark Places
and add Have Mercy
not sure about the rest, a 10 song LP would be pretty good
in a couple of interviews around the release of his most recent solo album last year, Brian made reference to the Replacements when talking about Gaslight...essentially the band said what it had to say, there's 5 albums, and it's pretty well done
I would love for TGA to come back, but I don't see it, beyond maybe some live shows here and there like with the 10th anniversary 59 Sound tour (that I'm still angry about missing)
“The Virgin Mary Had One Son” “Amazing Grace” “O Holy Night” “Nearer, My God, to Thee” “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” “The First Noel” “Sweet Hour of Prayer” “Angels We Have Heard on High” “Silent Night” “The Blessing”
Gaslight Anthem frontman’s Night Divine will be released November 5th and includes renditions of “Nearer My God, to Thee,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Angels We Have Heard on High”

umm, why?
Seems to have a Christmasie vibe with the holiday songs and all, also because I feel like it.

5 Gaslight albums, the Horrible Crowes record, and 3 solo albums, all of which I really enjoy...I can live with the Christmas record being a boring dud
looking forward to seeing him in Portland in January
Admittedly, I have not heard the solo albums. Mostly poking fun, which I do any time there’s a Christmas record. The Gaslight Anthem and Horrible Crowes I enjoyed back in the day and I have even seen Gaslight Anthem live (with The Hold Steady - very aughts show).
Remember when he called Handwritten their No Code but it was just a straightforward Gaslight Anthem album?
No I don't. I am fully aware that an album may never come to fruition but I can see Fallon not feeling comfortable with Get Hurt being the final GA effort. I'm not quite eating my words from earlier on the page but time will tell.

“Fallon has found his inspiration. “I want to do the No Code record, that one,” he said, mentioning Pearl Jam‘s fourth album. “ - from Rolling Stone, December 2012 (about Get Hurt I think)
