The pinnacle of the "reunion" years for me were the final shows of 2004, which were the first official bootlegs that were post-mixed by professionals and released on silver-bottomed discs. The performances are generally solid and upbeat, and the Norfolk show is especially good. After this, it seems to go downhill and shows were spotty. Then Kim got the fuck out of dodge.
Going to see these guys in October and probably in June with PJ too. I put the latest one, with the demos...damn those songs are so fucking good, its almost as having another album right there.

I think of them as 2 separate entities. And enjoy both for different reasons.
They’re touring here late this year on a Come On Pilgrim It’s Surfer Rosa tour. I kind of wish it was just a normal show with new album and last album cuts.
