Exactly. If they just made the good parts available I'd buy that for sure.

I listened to Core all the way through for the first time in probably fifteen years last night. I've been on a kick lately that has me appreciating heavy dumb rock on a more cerebral level. This one held up much better than I was expecting it to. Sin is a monster after No Memory, and I had a weird mandala effect thing going on with the bridge and solo of that song. I really don't remember it being that involved.

Wicked Garden was my favorite then and probably still is, but Naked Sunday is still a close second. Always had a soft spot for Crackerman too.

Piece of Pie was the first STP track I ever heard. Still holds a spot.

Sin is a monster of a song, and the bridge is beautiful.

i think sin's my favorite off of core. i just love that sweet bridge. i listen to core every time i mountain bike on this trail, and each time i come to this descent where the tree line opens up and i can see for miles, that bridge hits. it gets me every time.

I'm probably not going to vote for a lot of STP songs, so make sure you vote in the Grunge Tournament to offset my tastes

I think he's just trying to stoke the interest of those RMers who may not otherwise engage with the tournament.

I'll be voting for STP a lot.

I still think Tiny Music is their best album, but No. 4 is such a killer album, it might take the top spot one day.

1. Purple
2. Shangri La ---- this could be number one
3. Tiny Music
4. Core
5. No. 4
6. S/T

Here's a nice little interview with Robert for Billboard. He talks about the Core deluxe anniversary reissue, Scott and Chester's deaths, and writing new music.
