It's still a good song

Man, considering how things turned out for Weiland, "I Got You" is devastatingly sad.

Kind of hard to imagine a time when Sour Girl wasn't a Stone Temple Pilots song, yet that was the case for almost half of my life.

(This can be said for many songs of course, but Sour Girl deserves its own post.)

What? You mean because they hadn't made it yet?

I think Washing Machine got into Weiland's stash.

Are these guys ever going to release new music? Doesn't have to be STP but I thought the Chester Bennington EP was pretty good. Would love more music out of them.

What are you talking about? When wasn't it an STP song?

For the first three albums it didn't exist, yet it seems timeless. That's all I meant.

That song is pretty amazing. I haven't listened to 12 Bar Blues in forever. I need to fix that. I remember loving Where's the Man and Jimmy Was a Stimulator. Mockingbird Girl, Opposite Octave Reaction, and Lady, Your Roof Brings Me Down were all really good too. I really need to listen to this soon.

That is a great album.

For the last, like, four months I haven't been able to get "Naked Sunday" out of my head. I don't really know why. I wouldn't even rank it among their best songs, but something about those rhythmic drums, slicing guitars, and Weiland's "whoa-oh-oh"s just will not leave me alone.
