I'm surprised a lot of you don't love No. 4 that much. I find myself reaching for it more than any other STP release when I choose to listen to them. It always struck a great balance between the heavy Core/Purple stuff and the poppy, borderline Beatle-esque stuff from Vatican and Shangri-La for me.

There are a few of us who call it their favorite. Me, LV. Maybe more.

I'm probably in this group. On the strength of Glide alone, it's hard to beat. Throw in Atlanta, I Got You, Church on Tuesday, Down....you know, I think it's Sex and Violence and the motherfucker song in the middle that bring it down a bit.

Sex & Violence is my second-favorite song after No Way Out.

Listening to Weiland's "Barbarella" right now. God this song wrecks me. I think I've said this before, but it's probably better than any STP song.
That song is pretty amazing. I haven't listened to 12 Bar Blues in forever. I need to fix that. I remember loving Where's the Man and Jimmy Was a Stimulator. Mockingbird Girl, Opposite Octave Reaction, and Lady, Your Roof Brings Me Down were all really good too. I really need to listen to this soon.
