I’ve since texted my cuz, and he says the bf was being facetious.

If memory serves, the bf liked doors, led zep, most 70s rock.

I laughed at his jokes about stp. I mean—in my mind—he just didn’t get it. How do you not like a song called meatplow?

He liked 70s rock and Zep but not STP? Bizarre

I haven’t talked to nor seen this dude in over 25 years, but I remember him being “on” all the time.

Never saw his serious side, so who knows.

Figured that was why he stated there was no relation and I assumed a tumble in the rough.

I didn’t meatplow the gf. I remembered her being attractive, and also really into that goofy bastard who mocked stp.

Yes indeed, my younger brother was a big fan so I took him to see a filming of RAW IIRC but of course it wasn't his face that got plastered on national television.

Though more than anything I miss seeing hockey there, Nighthawks, Senators, Beast... didn't matter, local hockey is sorely missed.

Its funny but reading how strongly you associate Purple with your summer 94 reminded me how Tiny Music was basically the soundtrack to those last couple of months of high school in 96 when i graduated. I have nothing but really great memories of those last 3 months of high school and i was pretty much listening to Tiny Music (and that I Mother Earth album) non-stop!

I also graduated in '96 and my memories of "Tiny Music" are of starting commutes to college in September (which I hated). I have a lot of memories around "#4" coming out as well.

By that fall i think i was listening to No Code 24/7! Its funny i always loved Purple and Tiny Music but at some point i clearly wasnt up on what was going on with the band to the point where i didnt even realise they were releasing a 4th album until i heard it blasting in my the warehouse of my then shitty part time job.
