This used to be the rule but the last few years I'd say that there have been a few N1s that have been better than N2s.

Judging by the setlists, night 1 was better, but they did do an amazing version of 41 last night that made the whole show worth it.

I think it's completely random as to which night ends up being better.

which is a pain in the ass. ive missed the first couple of songs last year. this year they are opening up w/ warehouse and tripping billies. i'll be in for the opener this year.

i really wanna see them close w/ warehouse. actually dancing nancies>warehouse would be perfect to end a show.

I also think it depends on what songs each person likes. They have such a large song catalog now but only play 15-20 songs per night. A big thing is also the atmosphere, crowd, how much energy the band has on a given night. I've seen them 25+ times now and looking back strictly at the setlist vs. the experience...some of the best "setlist" shows weren't necessarily the best shows.

I have a feeling it'll be an emotional evening for the band. I just queued up 2008-06-28 as well.

Edit: I forgot about the Why I Am bit in the outro to Old Dirt Hill (Bring That Beat Back)... '08 had some solid shows.
