1 more week!
setlists have been all over the place, and they've been closing shows with some questionable songs. crush? so damn lucky? gtfo, you need to end the show with a banger. the newest song 'cha cha' is probably my favorite new tune, no idea why they didn't put it on the album.
i dont even care what they play, i just need to hear 'warehouse' live. i remember the last time i heard it so vividly it's almost scary. the third note is echoing in my head and i can remember exactly what i was looking at. it was like being hit by a wave.
more recent sets have been looking pretty good, and as you noted they're mixing it up a little bit. i hope this carries out the rest of the tour. i'd personally be fine with crush closing, but sdl has no business being a show closer.

I quickly looked at ants over the weekend to see the SPAC response and found it astounding they were complaining of N2's lack of 'hits' I haven't listened yet but on paper, especially at my favorite outdoor venue, I think I would have been pretty damn satisfied.
D&T announced their Mexico trip for '24 and the line-up includes Isbell and the 400 Unit, pretty cool.

they covered "The Weight" and "Just Breathe" in the same show . i would pay full price just for those two songs. knowing dave matthews was listening to pearl jam before a show, and then decided to cover the song he was listening to....this is like something i would have made up to tell my friends. i'm gonna cry lol

this was nice. set that night was definitely themed a bit, with dave noting here the losses he's faced recently. for me, him playing this song was a tiny bit of remedy for having to miss the pearl jam shows happening a mile away from my own house while i was out there.
first gorge experience ever for me and i can't really think of it being any better than it was. great weather, great crowds, great opening bands and guest spots, great old school sets, great views. i don't know if i'll ever go back or not, but if not i can be more than satisfied that this was the experience i had.

Alright, I enjoyed that. Before Rashawn's spot to lead I could have closed my eyes and though that was a fall '98 show. It's great that Tim is mixed much better and Dave sounds quite good, with all the strife in '07 had he also not decided to quit smoking I definitely feel that would have been the end.
Been rolling through the summer '97 tour and it is just one solid show after another.

it feels inevitable these guys will play the Sphere in Vegas. between that place and EV's festival there's a decent chance I see these guys somewhere in addition to Camden.
