the marcy playground cd with sex and candy is pretty solid as a whole..
the warren g cd with regulate is great as a whole.. as is the dogg pound cd released around that time.. id say theyre both as good as doggystyle.... the clipse and masta ace are other rappers who fit this category

One might be able to argue that Radiohead and Beck were one hit wonders.
Well, Beck had Loser and Where It’s At. New Pollution was maybe a minor hit. E Pro i thought was pretty big too. Hell Yes?
I would put Ben Harper on this list. One real hit in ‘99 with Steal My Kisses, and a whole lot of other swings and misses. But the first four albums are great, both his blues albums with Charlie Musselwhite are excellent, his album with the Blind Boys of Alabama is fantastic, and his short output with Relentless Seven was fun rock music.

Do people consider sir mix a lot a one hit wonder?? I'd imagine people only know baby got back, but he had 'hits' in my hooptie, iron man, and posse on broadway.. I'm not sure if they would be considered mainstream hits but they got heavy rotation on shows like yo MTV raps.. (personally I don't think baby got back is the best song on its own cd single)
Same with digital underground.. would kiss you back and same song be considered hits?? Same song is kinda famous for being 2pacs first song

Same with Digital Underground to my mind - Same Song is the one big hit imo.

Humpty Dance and Kiss You Back were both Billboard Top 40 hits.
