First impressions it makes me think of their third album Hot Cakes which was filled with super solid songs I've listened to a million times and always enjoy but maybe no top tier standout songs. It's too early to say though. Speed of the Nite Time is different for them and pretty fantastic. The title track worked better for me driving in the car than watching the video. No bad songs. The bonus songs feel like bonus songs except for So Long which I thought was really nice.

the lyric about "do you have a sister, someone who wants Jussy" made me LOL
I haven't had a thorough listen to any albums since Permission to Land, but this album has the same spirit with more complexity; definite ear candy
I guess I have no criticisms, maybe a ballad to break up the first 6-ish hard rock songs in a row would've helped, but I do like that the album is in two halves: first half classic and heavy, second half a little more eclectic with varying grooves

If you ever feel like digging into their other albums I'd suggest Last Of Our Kind next. It's really hard for me to rank their albums cause I love them all but I would probably say Last Of Our Kind was second to Permission To Land in levels of perfection.

I would call them a serious hard rock band with a sense of humor. They aren't making fun of the genre or being ironic. It's real and authentic but self aware and unpretentious. They aren't Steel Panther, Dread Zeppelin or Weird Al. I mean maybe if Werid Al's entire catalogue was all songs like Dare To Be Stupid. A real new wave song that just happened to also be funny? Like Ms Harmless said the humor in the lyrics is a added benefit its the musicianship that hooked me. As weird as it is to say about a guy with a 80's metal falsetto something about the phrasing and tone of Justin vocals genuinely moves me sometimes.
