I don't have high hopes for the new album. She's been teasing 'Shinigami Eyes' for months now, and from what the snippets show, it's repetitive and uninspired. Why would you lead with that?

New Grimes track dropped.

I like it, but can't help but feel a little underwhelmed. Do you think the production was a deliberate aesthetic choice? It lacks punch, like she was going for a 90s garage/DIY electronic vibe. When compared to the likes of 'Violence' and '4AEM' it just sounds flat.
