The only albums of Bruce that I own, or have any real desire to own are Nebraska and The Ghost of Tom Joad

Really can't go wrong with any album between Born to Run and Born in the USA or even Tunnel of Love if you're so inclined. I would start at Born to Run.

yeah I would say Born to Run then Darkness to get a foundation. then jump around depending on what looks interesting to you.

I agree with this.

I'd personally expand it to Born to Run thru Tunnel of Love but for sure BTR/Darkness is the peak.

If you want to dip your toes in anything he's done in say the last 15 years go with Magic which is BY FAR his best in that window.

Yeah top 3.

Snatch, just throw Magic on starting with Gypsy Biker and then through to the end. That is a top shit run and if that does nothing for you then stick with the best ofs.

One of the best runs in his catalog, no doubt.

The daily Bing poll today is "What's the better Bruce Springsteen song: Born to Run, or Born in the USA"

Born in the USA is winning 61% to 39%.

Also it's Born to Run those fools.

Same. Sometimes I think Born to Run is overrated. Then I listen to it again and change my mind.

Real talk - Born To Run doesn't sound good live. The studio version can never be topped.

Born In The USA on the other hand is probably the greatest concert opener in history.

Bruce's hair makes his body look comically small in comparison to his head. Great version of the song though.

Yeah, USA absolutely blew up in my estimation the first time I heard it live. It felt so much more massive than I expected. Just unlike anything else I ever saw him play. The studio version is murdered by his horseshit production tendencies.

I forgot Morello was on that leg of the tour. Bruce's smiles after the band kicks in on their parts is [always] really something, I would assume he is fully enjoying every moment he has on stage even after the stress of going solo for a tad.

Thanks for that, I don't YouTube music near enough.
