I don't really like Bruce, but this was really great.

I can't believe I've never heard of this.

That’s awesome. If you told me in 1992 that Tom Morello would contribute to a Bee Gees cover I probably would have laughed in your face. It would have been Doc Brown level “Reagan!? The Actor!?”

FYI,

Piano and harmonica only Thunder Road > full band Thunder Road. Discuss.

It all depends on the placement in the show.

Show opener (for instance the Hammersmith Odeon ‘75 show).

New album 'Western Stars' coming June 14. “This record is a return to my solo recordings featuring character driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements. It's a jewel box of a record." - Bruce

I'm cautiously optimistic. Looks like the first single releases tomorrow.

Throwback to the pop records of the 60’s and 70’s or something.

Hmm. I just really want to see the e street band....

I'm game if we get more tunes like Girls in Their Summer Clothes.

New single is terrific: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ik70rgwt1c9m ... e.mp3?dl=0

Sound wise it's looking a bit like Devils & Dust/Seeger Sessions - which is a good thing in my book.

I dont really hear that at all. Its just Bruce with a guitar with beautiful melody, some lap steel guitar and some strings.

Great song.

That does not make me think of pop throwbacks to the 60s and 70s. The Promise and the b-sides in The River boxed set do.

This reminds me a little of a Johnny Cash with a lap steel.

To be fair, I didn’t listen to the song.
