It was great when we saw them in May. There were a few kids there but not many. All the adults would ask her what her favorite song was and I’m sure they were expecting her to name one of the better known radio cuts because when she would answer King of the World, half of them wouldn’t even know what it was and the other half was really impressed she knew of such a deep cut.

Amazing. They had some guy on second guitar on all of Countdown and some of the tunes after that. He said his name a couple of times, but I couldn’t understand what he said. He was a great player. I hope they add him permanently. The girls sang Razor Boy. Your Gold Teeth was incredible. He flubbed the last lyric but only the die-hards noticed it. Fagen totally fucked up the opening to KOTW. He started singing halfway thru the intro. The band played straight thru and began the verse section when they were supposed to. After that, it was sublime. Having both guitar parts on there really made the difference too. After Countdown, we got four tunes from Aia. Every tune we got after Countdown, we heard in Nashville. Nothing new, but we did get the dual guitars on Reelin’ in the Years with an extended back-and-forth between the guitars. It was fucking awesome. An amazing fucking show. So glad I came up for it.
