Jack White released a new song today. Two versions of the same song...both are awesome!

Agreed the rock version or whatever feels pretty generic but the other version is much cooler.

Man, just listened to the White Stripes live at the Detroit Institute of Arts from 11/2/01. What a show. If 26 year old Jack white knew what he'd be 46, he beat him up worse than the lead singer of the Von Bondies.

I watched this Saturday and man what a killer show. I don’t think I even watched the 2nd set yet.

Starting this one now…

So far the one-two-three punch of Taking Me Back, Fear of the Dawn and The White Raven is pretty phenomenal. Hi-De-Ho is pretty bonkers though I wishes it kicked in faster.

Up to What’s the Trick. I am enjoying this. A bit wonky but it certainly has that spastic Jack White energy to it. Eosophobia and Into the Twilight are prettt enjoyable, even if the guitar parts throw me off balance from what I’d expect.

That Was Then This is Now I liked a lot, and really enjoyed Morning Noon and Night. I think I am going to like this even more with further listens once I am calibrated to my expectations - much in the same way I keep like the new Chili Peppers album more with each listen.

The vinyl arrived early from Third Man.
It sounds amazing. The whole LP is just top shelf stuff.

Second time around the block with this thing and its kind of blowing my mind.

Ending it with Shedding my Velvet is just the fucking icing on the cake. What a song.

Enough to run every goddamn instrument in the band through one that’s for sure

last night in Chicago. great show. the band was tight, all business. maybe a little short, but well worth the $80...

Listened again this morning and it was even better. Possibly my favorite album thus far this year.
