They are playing at a tiny venue in aspen, the belly up. I really, really, really want to go but tickets are $240. Ugh.

Doesn't everything in Aspen have to be super expensive?

I talked about it when it first dropped. Totally fine record. The final stretch is the best part. It's good enough but no great songs. Not an album I'm likely to seek out often.

Been listening to the new album all summer! Didn’t get a chance to see them but a friend saw them in Portland and said they were great.

Today I discovered that I got a jack white album for Christmas that I apparently and obviously never took out of its wrapper and played.

I thought this ironic since earlier I saw the jack white thread bumped on here

I listened to it once through, although not really because some songs I could not listen to one second more and, went onto the next....

When it was done I thought about donating it--"boardinghouse" to the salvation army or taking it to the consignment shop. But then I thought that wouldnt be right because it would be like donating a piece of shit to someone who might mistake it for music, and thats not right.

So then i was just thinking that maybe I could make an announcement on RM that I would give the album to anyone who wanted it for the cost of shipping. At least if someone on here wanted it, they would at least be somewhat of an informed recipient.

So , anyone want this boardinghouse album for the price of shipping? I still have the wrapper with the 29.99 price tag.

Haha-- boarding house "reach" ...that ain't no shit...

Ok, the wrapper and price sticker have since been land-filled , but the rest of the offer still stands. Actually , If you say "ok, what the hell" before Dec 1, I will throw in shipping and a fucking Christmas card.

Compare with Christmas card

I feel a very strong bond with KT now knowing she hated this embarrassing piece of shit album.
