Cleanse your palate with the jazz guitar recommendations I posted in the other thread, Strat.

Are there any interviews out there yet where he is asked about how much this sucks? I'd be curious how he responds.

According to the Genius app:

The lyrics of the song Humoresque were originally written by the notorious gangster Al Capone. It was a handwritten musical composition he wrote in Alcatraz in the 1930s. Capone’s musical piece entitled Humoresque was sold for $18,750 (according to Chicago Tribune) to an anonymous bidder, in 2017. In a Rolling Stone interview, Jack White revealed that the bidder was him.
The music of the song was originally composed by Czech composer, Antonín Leopold Dvořák.

This is an embarrassing release. If it didn't have Jack Whites name on it you guys wouldn't be contorting yourselves into these compliments.

haha I just don't get the hate this thing is getting. In my case I was ready to jump off of White's stale bandwagon, but this is keeping me on. It's not the greatest thing in the world, but it's much more entertaining than Lazaretto. Reminds me of Beck or something, yet its still very Jack White.

Over and Over and Over is cool.

This is a fun album.

Calling this album bold and creative is a cop out. It's trash. But guys like jack white have been told how wonderful they are by Theo Epstein or whoever for so long now that they can convince themselves their every indulgence is great art. It's not.

Do you think the new Pumpkins EPs will be good? Spoiler: they won't be. You strike me as one of those guys that lets musicians coast off reputation well past their expiration date.
