Never the Machine Forever is an interesting pick for top 10. Never really consider that one but its a good choice.

I love it.

Heavy and a bit weird, like the best Soundgarden.

This is what PJ could do sometime...play a new song live and then a new song/improv :

Awesome! They're mixing up the setlists like Pearl Jam. See? Matt Cameron DOES rule.

Its like a Pearl Jam show, minus a second encore. They were on for just about 2 hours and 15 minutes in DC. No opening act either, and despite the ticket saying 8 PM and the venue even saying "the show starts at 8" they came on around 8:15, 8:30.

Finally, the gods have listened...Zero Chance. Sounds beautiful and sad, a lot like life.

‘Why doesn’t anyone believe in loneliness? Stand up and everyone will see your holyness’...what a great line.

Thanks SG, thanks Ben.

Yeah Dude. Way cool. I didn't even think of going until Tuesday morning. I wasn't too into King Animal and got burned trying to get tickets to an earlier show of theirs at a much smaller venue. And the Down on the Upside material was really good. Loved Rhinosaur. Would of liked to see Pretty Noose or even Searching with my good eye but shit. Great show. I'm sure they'll make it down under.

So no "cool story bro"?

re: Chris Cornell pointed at me and told me to stand up!

The guy looked right at me, then Ben and Matt did too, and Matt said something too, but I couldn't make it out. I think that's kinda neat.

Wow they finally played Zero Chance? Amazing! That's probably my favorite song off DOTU. Does anyone know if these shows have been taped? I'm hoping some audience recordings pop up in the near future...
