Well that looks pretty cool - 6 early versions/demo's recorded by Endino in '87 (including the version of BTW that's been floating around on bootlegs for years, but in better quality). Will be great to hear the album remixed too.

I'm glad this album is coming back into print, but I wish the remixed version was a bonus disc or something, or some kind of supplemental standalone product. The fact that this is simply going to be the version of the album that exists now is the kind of revisionist history that just leaves a weird taste in my mouth, the same way the "enhanced" "Lost Dogs" versions of "Footsteps" et al. have inadvertently become the more canonical versions, with the originals relegated to out-of-print singles.

You know that I am of a similar mind on such matters, KD.
That said, I have faith this remix may actually be the very rare example of such an undertaking resulting in a substantial improvement. Fingers crossed.

I was honestly about to post "I wish PJ would remix Ten," before I remembered that they already did that, and that I've never listened to the whole thing.

Echoes of miles was pretty good but was sort of a missed opportunity to include all their unreleased studio songs. 49 tracks and they only included 4 unreleased studio songs - Kristi, Storm, Twin Tower and Night Surf. The deluxe editions of Superunknown Badmotorfinger etc. haven't been exactly what I wanted either. We've been teased since 1996 about OCEAN FRONTS and since the 20th anniversary of DOTU has come and gone with only a lame vinyl reissue, does anyone here know if there's going to be a deluxe edition of DOTU? OCEAN FRONTS might be the last unreleased studio Soundgarden song with Ben from the 1990's and I sincerely hope they release it soon.
