Yeah I know, I've been compiling all sorts of material (and in varying degrees of quality) in hopes of making a DVD box set of tv appearances, interviews, promos etc...if you want I can send you a list of what I have and we can compile something out of it, I was thinking a pre superunknown one, a superunkwnown one, a reunion one, a king animal one and a superunknown reissue one...please let me know what do you think
I do have quite a bit of stuff but the quality ain't great. For example, I bought a couple of TV compilation VHS's from the US on Ebay about 20 years ago. As I'm in Ireland, I needed to do an NTSC to PAL transfer (added another generation, in other words), so I'm sure that stuff is out there in better quality - if anyone from the US bought the same comps they'd be a generation better etc.

I actually really like Live on I-5, but I couldn’t get past a couple of songs on Artists Den. Just seems like if they are going to release a live album they would release a career highlight.
Chris always sounded like garbage when he had to sing three nights in a row. I saw them three nights in a row just a week or so before that and he sounded pretty awful on the last night. They needed to give him more rest than they did, and he needed to take it easier and sing more mid-tempo songs that didn't demand much of him (ie, the same thing PJ needs to do for Ed).
That being said, the band sounds great on this release, and there are moments where Chris does sound good to excellent (see "New Damage"). But the reason this was released was because it was filmed and recorded, not because it was a great show for everyone there. I'm fine with it. It's a bummer they didn't record more shows like this.

I'm not sure if I've even gotten through disc 1 of the Artists Den album, let alone the whole thing.
The fact that so little material was filmed/recorded during the Superunknown tour is a regret for them now, I'm sure. Of what little there is, the 1993 live version of "Beyond the Wheel" from the BHS single is just incredible. Chris sounds phenomenal.

There was that professionally shot version of Searching (which looks/sounds incredible) that features on the movie Hype. And I think it's the same show as featured in the My Wave video. So possibly they have an entire professionally shot show from the 94 tour.

Yeah whenever someone starts bagging on Chris for being shit live (which to be fair there is plenty of evidence) I put that version of Beyond the Wheel on.

I haven't heard Artists Den, but Live on I-5 is one of the worst live albums I've ever heard in my life. Absolutely horrid production from every standpoint, especially the Beatles-at-Shea-Stadium-next-to-a-jet-engine fake crowd noise that was added to it and mixed way up front. So if it's better than Artist's Den, yikes...
