Dev gets it.
The biography sat on shelf 1/2 read for the past two months. I picked it up yesterday and now I'm in the "Jason is being a drunk asshole and getting less and less creatively productive" chapters and it's fucking depressing.
Apparently no one remembers what they played, presumably because the set was all new material at the time (with the exception of a slowed down version of "Riding With the Ghost"). Very Neil Young move. Good show, but you could tell they were tired and ready to go home. I also remember the stage wasn't elevated, and since I'm pretty tall and Jason's pretty short, I spent more of the show watching his bald spot than I'd initially intended.

That's probably pretty close, but it was a shorter set than that and I'm confident they didn't do "Steve Albini's Blues" or anything else from MEC besides "Ghost." They definitely closed with "Mama Don't Let Your Babies.."

I did, but to be honest I haven't listened yet. Did pre-order though. When I saw the news I just dove into Journey On and listened to some of my favorite tracks from there.

For me, no. What Comes After the Blues and Didn't It Rain come closest I guess. Aside from those and MEC he's more of a song artist to me, vs. albums. I have a hard time with the slow, plodding stuff, and there's a lot of that.
Disc 1 1 The Black Crow 2 Tigress 3 Nervous Bride 4 Being in Love 5 Lioness 6 Coxcomb Red 7 Back On Top 8 Baby Take A Look 9 Just a Spark
Disc 2 1 On My Way Home (Lioness Sessions outtake) 2 Never Fake It (Lioness Sessions outtake) 3 From the Heart (Lioness Sessions outtake) 4 It Gets Harder Over Time (Lioness Sessions outtake) 5 I Promise Not To Quit (Lioness Sessions outtake) 6 Neighbors Of Our Age (Lioness Sessions outtake) 7 Pyrate II (Even Now) (Lioness Sessions outtake) 8 Velvet Marching Band (Lissy’s Sessions) 9 Raw (Lissy’s Sessions) 10 Already Through (Lissy’s Sessions) 11 Wondrous Love (Lissy’s Sessions)
