There's nothing I enjoy more than watching pop fans rip on jazz. My friend Joe just decimated this jazz cat, grad student at a mutual friend's wedding. It was hilarious.

Yup. Pulitzer himself indicated he wanted scholarship money for music in his will, and the transition to a full prize happened in 1943. It's well established -- but I believe this is the first time, ever, a non-classical or jazz performer has won.

The new HR rep at my old job called my boss bougie one day and almost every day after that my boss would talk about himself as the bougie guy at work and would constantly reference it.
One person I told this story to compared it to calling a white person a wigger, which confused me on several levels.
