Bluetooth quality isn't that far advance yet is it? In terms of sound quality, i mean
To my knowledge, no. I think this is going to be just like the thunderbolt thing, in that they'll be the only major company supporting a certain tech just so they can sell some new peripherals, and in a few years they'll abandon it themselves.

lol at Apple trying to kill the headphone jack
It would solve some problems.
Honest question: what problems? The connection isn't hindering their plans for wireless charging, and Bluetooth headphones come with their own problems. And now iphone 7 owners who want to use their old headphones need to keep track of the adapter. What am I missing?

No more headphone jack THEY ARE CHANGING THE WORLD! I really don't want to be in the middle of my commute or a phone call and have my headphone batteries die. What a useless hindrance. I'm already tired of all the things I'm required to charge every couple of days. Fuck Apple. I'm moving to Android for my next device.

I would say that circumstance is a pretty rare outlier.
Considering these new "AirPods" are $160 and are two separate, small little buds, Apple is banking on a LOT of these getting lost and people buying multiple pairs.
I think I'd rather just stock up on 3-4 pair of $8 wired headphones and go along my merry way
Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

plus, you're gonna look like one of those Bluetooth Douchebags, but worse bc you have them in both ears
I only recently (like within the last year) started listening to music on my phone with anything resembling regularity. Of course, I don't have an iPhone.
