Very unique show to see. I knew half the songs, the "hits" as it were. Stage was set just like in the clips posted. Highs and lows throughout, a few songs dragged on in the 8th min but overall a great show.
They do an intermission halfway through the show, which was very considerate.

i think about that post pretty much any time sigur ros comes up.
i saw them on tuesday night. pretty much the same setlist songs as above, minus a couple of the new ones and in a bit of a different order.
Vaka Fyrsta Samskeyti Svefn-g-englar Ný batterí Gold 2 Fljótavík Heysátan Dauðalagið Smáskifa
Glósóli E-Bow Ekki múkk Gong Andvari Sæglópur Gold 4 Festival Kveikur Popplagið
overall a pretty mellow show with not too many peaks. not really surprising given the songs chosen for this tour, but after 2+ hours or so it was nice to have kveikur and popplagio finish it off on a heavy note. speaking of notes, while jonsi can still hit the difficult notes, jonsi's voice this show was a little more raspy and hoarse than i can recall it being, and i do think it added a bit to the emotional weight these songs can bring to a listener. the stage setup and lighting was pretty much what one would expect from them, nothing on this show stood out optics-wise when compared to older tours and they're reusing some visuals as well.
in the long run i don't think this show will stick with me like some of the others by them i've seen, but i'm definitely glad i went. as i mentioned earlier, getting to see the bulk of () performed in 2022 was the real attraction for me this time around.

Last night's set. Incredible. The drumming was amazing. My wife and I got to sit with strat and his lady, and we all had dinner with doc and chloe beforehand as well.
Pretty sure the Anthem in DC is one of my favorite venues now. That place is beautiful and sounded great.

anyone know why ( ) is showing up on my Amazon music as a new 2022 release? I Googled and can't find anything, and the tracklist appears to be the same
