Some small comfort unexpected.

All my pals are doing the darkness into light walk tonight. Thousands of walks nationwide across Ireland in middle of the night through to dawn to raise money for suicide awareness.
Families and friends that have lost to suicide take part and thousands of others.

I asked my pal would he bring a song of Scott’s and play it.
Happy to. (After my big emotional breakdown on Facebook)

I picked Wait till morning.

It’s perfect. It’s exactly what they’re trying to achieve.

All about the ugly side of midnight and wait and just get through :)

Over the moon he’ll be on the walk:)

Small comfort :)

Painting of a panic attack is amazing

I was distraught posting that and went back and forth on it.

But as painful and devastating as it is it’s beautiful too and a lesson. One I mean to embrace anyways.

Look st the time difference between the two. He stood on that bridge for a while. The above you listed his last goodbye.

Such a heartbreak

spinned all of their albums today
some of the songs are hard to digest right now
pedestrian verses helped me a lot a couple of years ago

Never listened to them, but yeah..the guy killed himself?

Nice to see Mike with him...he seems so happy.

It’s bizarre but that’s the only one I can listen to. And I’m borderline content repeat.

The album that came before I just can’t. But the one after (think it’s mostly live demos?) it’s out there in both senses and odd.

Painting of a panic attack, though. Such a beautiful record. He was drawing a map to this moment and wanting to die. It’s painful but it’s there.

I've been spinning 'Panic Attack' all day today as well. I listened to 'Floating in the Forth' today as well. That one was... tough.

Really sad about this. Fuck.

You were the fist person I thought of when I first heard Scott was missing- you introduced me to Frightened Rabbit and now my sadness and thoughts around this include you as well. So sorry. :(

No probs at all. I do remember being quite vocal that y'all should listen to The Midnight Organ Fight once upon a time.

Cheers for the thoughts Ang, such a sad thing. But there's been quite a few sad sad things lately.

I think this is my favourite (and nothing to do with the McCready connection, though that is a nice thing too):

As I read the details that come in about this, my heart goes out to all of you fans and of course his family. Though only casually aware of FR’s music, it’s clear to me that he wore his heart on his sleeve and was very public about his depression, giving strength to others if not himself. I’m sorry, guys. Scott seemed like one of the good ones.
