Yeah, I'm not sold just on the first few songs I heard. The new Malkmus and Yo La Tengo records are way more interesting to me right now, but I'll probably come back to this down the line.

I like the album but, like The War On Drugs latest album there is absolutely no growth as artist. I think Courtney may be a one trick pony. I like the trick so I like the pony. Jack Johnson has carved out a nearly 20 year career with his trick, so it's not career limiting.
I find the album a little road weary and less whimsical than Sometimes I Sit... but still a decent listen. Looking forward to seeing her in October.

I'm not sure if I like it better, but I think this album is more interesting musically than the last one. City Looks Pretty and Need A Little Time are my favorites.
I've only listened to the first three songs but I really dig those first three. It reminds me a lot of Liz Phair, which is right up my alley. So far, I like it more than the last record. But, again, it's only three songs.
