Ghost gets memed on a lot but their first three albums absolutely ruled. They're basically a hard rock band that got lumped in with metal based on themes and aesthetics alone, which is likely why they trigger so many metal purists. They're also fun as hell, which some dorks are apparently allergic to. |

I've had spotify and a youtube playlists playing at the same time for the last 30 minutes and didn't notice. It's all background noise to me at this point. |

I really like Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia, it's a strong collection of super well crafted pop songs... at least for the first 9 tracks. But man, those last two songs are rough. I wonder what happened there. |

I didn’t watch and I love the albums from her creative peak…But there’s something about the way she’s treated now that really turns me off. They trot her out every few years hoisted up on their shoulders, a lot of pomp and circumstance, and everyone loses their minds. But she’s had serious mental illness struggles and she looks like death and I can’t help but think it’s a Bruce Willis situation. I have nothing to base this on other than brief glimpses while scrolling the news and my general gut instinct, but I’m committing so don’t even try to talk me out of it |
