Yeah... maybe I'm projecting the cringe cause I think the song is so lame. If I were in the audience I'd be maybe bobbing my head out of sympathy and that's what I assume those people are doing.
i don’t dislike that song though it probably has more to do with nostalgia than anything

I really, really, really...really, hate Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee's cover of "Farewell Transmission." Not quite as bad as Jim James' version, but still awful. That song might be uncoverable.

That is truly abysmal. Molina's delivery is such a singlular part of why this song works, something this rote, uninspired rendering utterly fails to capture.
