I like that song, but some stuff from that latter-day "fuck ballads let's rock" period is pretty cringy. "I Wanna DJ" is one of the worst things ever made by anyone |

"Mine Smell Like Honey“ and "Alligator_Aviator_Autopilot_Antimatter" from the last album are great. |

And I think they are even easier to overlook in uptempo rock songs than they are in slower songs and ballads. |

I tried to do a full review of their discography a couple years ago and fell into a coma somewhere around Out of Time. The first four albums are wonderful, everything after that is a good single or two surrounded by samey-sounding filler. Stipe(nd)'s voice really grates on me after a while. |
