I think Weezer, but thats mainly because i never gave a fuck about them.

Weezer have two classic albums, and great tracks strewn throughout their other 90's albums.

'Beverly Hills' is one of the laziest, corniest songs I've ever heard, though. How the fuck did that become a hit? It boggles the mind.

Anyway, I stopped paying attention after that.

Absolutely not. The Blue Album and Pinkerton are plenty good.

I'd put Maladroit in there too. A really solid hard rock album with some weirdness to it.

And The White Album is filled with really catchy, well-written songs.

I stopped listening after Pacific Daydream so I have no idea if anything else they made after 2016 is worthwhile

I’d at least put Solsbury Hill, Biko, The Family and the Fishing Net above it. Indigo and Don’t Give Up are maybe better too…

That’s no slight, In Your Eyes is an incredible song. It feels a bit like Life Wasted though in that it excels by perfecting an established formula.

I don’t enjoy cover songs that don’t bring something new to the song. What’s the point otherwise? I don’t care about hearing another person’s voice just singing a song I already know that’s just not as good of a rendition. It’s safe and boring and a waste of time. Just go perform at a Guitar Center while I listen to the original that is apparently good enough on its own to warrant someone trying to copy it.
