Listening to NYC Ghosts + Flowers right now. I love how everything Jim O'Rourke touched in the early 00's sounds like it was recorded in a room full of ungrounded outlets and steam.

I remember not liking Jim O'Rourke at the time. It was like get out of this band! and of course, with time i loved him. Great moment for SY.

For the past week I’ve been listening to the weirdest mind bending record I’ve ever heard. And it’s amazing.
What... is.... the .... record.... dime....?
You wouldn’t like it. It’s Glens new one. It’s so bizarre cos it’s a different beast dimensionally than anything he’s done. Actually you might like it. It’s just so mental but full of intent and deadly serious
Iranian singers and musicians on it and they can’t tour cos they can’t get visas. Be interested to see how this is gonna transfer life

I adore Glen's stuff, so I'll definitely check it out.

Yeah, I wish he had worked with them and Wilco longer.
