Just listening to a wonderful podcast interview with a guy for involved as a young man in music here and lead a dream life.
One story about Fugazi coming here in the early 90s and the gig only took £200. The band refused to take the money and told them to put the money back into their project. Bringing bands over here to play. Greenday etc soon followed. Called the hope collective. He’s all about doing it punk.
He booked Jeff Buckley for his first Dublin show and has a pearl jam story too.

I came across the Pinkerton album cover at the charity guild shop today. Kind of cool to see it out of context. My eyes gravitated towards it out of sheer pattern recognition.

That photo was taken in the guild shop. I do not own any of them but I'll be happy to pick up that Stooges frame and mail it to anyone who wants it. I'll even spring for the shipping if I like you.

A high-profile Los Angeles law firm representing multiple recording artists plans to file legal action as early as next week in response to news that a massive number of original master recordings were destroyed in a 2008 fire at Universal Studios Hollywood.
“We have many very concerned clients,” attorney Howard King, partner in King, Holmes, Paterno & Soriano, said Thursday. “This has a potentially huge impact on their future, coupled with the rather disturbing fact that no one ever told them that their intellectual property may have been destroyed. There is a significant amount of discussion going on, and there will be formal action taken.”
