I'll go back to the baseball tournament thread.
I feel like I've overdone this shtick. So I'm going to officially and sincerely apologize. Please forgive my behavior. It really was meant to be funny. I think you're a fantastic poster and I always value and appreciate your input. Sincerely.
Don't worry. I support this schtick as long as people are enjoying it.
If I may extend an olive branch, I can't imagine this will be any good
Obviously, I don't like anything about Courtney Love or her music. But I certainly hope the album has something to offer for those that do. I don't root for mediocre or terrible art.

I drafted violet in the 90s tournament and received a fair bit of shit about it. Maybe it was just a lot of shit from one person
Yeah, don't go throwing RM under the bus. Most people defended your choice and defended those two "albums." And Rm's newest golden boy raved about your pick and went full on smear campaign on any and all who disagreed.
The "fair bit of shit" you received was really only like two posts from me.
I just went back and read through this... no one went on a smear campaign but you...

I honestly assumed that Courtney Love was a sort of universal experience in the 90's. Everybody got into it for a few minutes, and nobody wanted to admit to that after the fact.
Every single aspect of Live Through This and the way it was promoted matched up with what I imagine the most cynical, calculated marketing plan must look like in a year like 1994.
