I remember I was in Miami when it happened. I was posting from the balcony of my apartment overlooking the beach. And I was having an argument with Adamdude.

Reported setlist from last night's show, her first full show since 1979:
This is the actual playlist:
Lily Hounds of Love Joanni Top of the City Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God) King of the Mountain The Ninth Wave And Dream of Sheep Under Ice Waking the Witch Watching You Without Me Jig of Life Hello Earth The Morning Fog A Sky of Honey Prelude Prologue An Architect's Dream The Painter's Link Sunset Aerial Tal Somewhere in Between Tawny Moon (New Song; Sung by Kate's son Bertie) Nocturn Aerial Encore: Among Angels (Kate solo piano) Cloudbusting
It is. She needed one at that point in her career and delivered it.
The diversity of her catalogue and how comfortable she is in all the different aspects of her music is ridiculously crazy. She can do abstract bordering on bizarre and direct and emotive with equal ease. The one thing that never changes with her is the quality of the sound she builds for each song. She uses her voice in the same way she uses any other instrument in the arrangements, shaping it depending on what she envisions for a particular song.
