I spent some of the afternoon listening to their 2021 show from Denver on Spotify and they are pretty spectacular live. Yes the songs are long but they take a lot of detours in ways that can elude to other bands but stay in a more intense space. The songs at least start out a bit more indie rock than say throwaway jam band. I’d certainly see them when they come around again.

I have a nugs.net subscription and with it is streaming the Peach Festival with no extra charge, so I have watched a few bands here and there. Caught one set of Billy Strings which definitely pushed my desire to see him at Sea.Hear.Now. Last night I watched Joe Russo’s Almost Dead set and damn if they don’t sound closer to the Dead than Dead and Co. - hoping I will get the chance at some point to see them. Tonight I believe Trey Anastasio Band is the headliner, and I know I can’t stay up for Goose who has the late late night set.

I could only stream on nugs.net but wish I was there. Streamed The Revivalists (pretty good) last night and Trey Anastasio Band (pretty great). Maybe I’ll get a stream in today but the options are not as enticing.

Yeah I am still listening to Goose. The show they just released on streaming services from Philadelphia this year is spectacular, but be forewarned that the show is 11 songs, and over 3 hours.
