i'm sure his hologram will go on tour some time soon

Maybe it's because I saw This Is It last weekend, but I really wish I had attended the Dangerous tour or something.

Yeah, I would have liked to see him too. I don't know if there will ever be a pop star that huge ever again

My Mom saw MJ at Arrowhead in Kansas City in 1984. Bought a few shirts. I have one that I need to put on ebay.

I saw MJ on the Dangerous tour and it's still the best performance and spectacle gig i've ever seen.

I missed a Sparklehorse show in college bc it was a 3 hour drive each way, and I had a Physics test the next day. Good thing I decided on the test since I turned out to be a graphic designer :censored:

That would have been awesome! The show I mean.

Some of my favorite artists are minimal electronic/drone/ambient type stuff, but I just have never had a desire to see them live. I feel like it wouldn't be THAT big of a departure from the albums. And for some reason, I can't get excited to see a dude standing behind a laptop and flipping buttons. I love listening, but not watching.

My Mom missed out on seeing Pearl Jam's first ever European show - Southend, England 1992. She really regrets that one, but she's going with me to see them in Detroit this year.

I was late to the game with Sparklehorse. So good.

Silkworm, Magnolia Electric, a Prince private party, Will Oldham in a moldy basement, handful of smaller punk bands ie. Feedtime. Pierced Arrows, Big Business, Sleep at the Masonic Temple. Shoppers.

I'm sure I can think of more later.

I'm still bummed that Om and Black Sabbath played here on the same night last year. I chose Sabbath as it was almost certainly the only time I'll ever get to see them, and there's few bands who are more important to me, but I still think about that Om show I missed.

I'd really, really love to see Nels Cline play one day.

Being lame and taking off a day early from Seattle after the 2001 Groundworks benefit show with Pearl Jam and REM. My friend stayed. He saw REM's unannounced show at the Crocodile Cafe with Ed Vedder singing, serving Michael Stipe drinks on stage, and joining REM in a drunken conga line.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have seen Molina play a solo show. A full band set would have been terrific.
