Well i loved that Joe Rogan podcast. Billy seems in a very good place these days. Lots of talks about his really difficult father, the music industry, his role in the wrestling company he bought, Dennis Rodman, Axl Rose...very good talk. There is a hint about a Pumpkins tour maybe next year.
Oh and i love Ogilala. Its the first album from him that i really like since Adore i think.

Oceania is fucking great. It's been 5 years and this album ranks up there with the 90s stuff for me. So many solid songs and a cohesive album. I just wish we could have had Jimmy on drums!

Oceania is a weird one for me. I cant get into it that much...specially because of the production. Billy´s voice is upfront and his singing is monotone at best.

I think that album is really not good.

i'm surprised there's nothing on the band reuniting with corgan's post of them in the studio together last week: https://consequenceofsound.net/2018/01/ ... he-studio/

looks like no d'arcy though.

Im guessing she really cant play at this point.

If you believe Billy she never could play. :)

Latter-day Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroder's spent a lot more time playing on whatever they're doing in the studio right now than James. There's been a few pictures of him laying down guitar tracks, whereas James seems to have been only been there on one day and there's no photos of him holding an instrument. Seems like they're just working out ideas and doing some demos in any case, I don't think it's necessarily indicative of whatever a reunion would look like.

yes, the studio pics are tricky. Im thinking Billy will release a SP album with James in a few songs, and then the tour with him. I dont think james is making new music with him.

Clock countdown in the website, seems the news about the tour or album are coming this thursday.
Meanwhile lots of pics with Siamese Dream related things, like the girls from the album or the ice cream truck are being posted in their Instagram.

New tour dates, I think.

Current line-up seems to be Billy, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlain, Jeff Schroeder from Pumpkins v2 still around on third guitar and some as-yet-unnamed bass player, probably engaged only for the live shows. So, pretty much how they ended up in 2016:

I'd definitely consider seeing this iteration of the band if they came near here, I never got a chance to see them the first time around and I never had much interest in the Billy-and-some-hired-hands line-ups.

Has anyone seen D'Arcy lately? Total freak show. Why do women think fake lips are necessary?

From what I understand, she has always been one of those people who is obsessed with being "ugly" and is totally addicted to plastic surgery. Like a Michael Jackson thing.

I wonder if a new album will be Alex Jones inspired?

Yeah, and she dated Mickey Rourke...that didnt help either. Im guessing she really cant play and Billy and James dont want to deal with her issues again.

I thought he was always pretty happy with how she played live, just didn't have enough patience for her during the recording process.
