it appears so, yes. just noted yesterday.
This is why I still like owning music.
I was at the SP show in NJ. The band sounded FANTASTIC. Billy is still a god-tier guitarist. I did not care for most of the special guests, especially Courtney Love who was an embarrassment. Bodies and Snail were highlights though - I love the Deftones and Chino sounded great. I'm super glad I went. Took my 11 year old son and he loved it too even though he didn't know a lot of the music. He did sing along to Stairway though!

Went to the Seattle show on Friday. Three and a quarter hours of SP live, nice way to spend a Friday night. Billy's vocals are way better live than I expected. James Iha has a pretty prominent role and does most of the talking. Stairway to Heaven works and is very keyboard oriented, a surprising take on it. Song selection is great and the vaudeville videos work within the show quite well. Thought the audience was pretty good, not too many cell phones out filming. People just enjoying the music. A lot of big smiles all around. Very little chemistry on stage. Some between Billy and James and that's about it. Nothing between Billy and the bassist or Jeff Schroeder (the third guitarist). Overall good show. I think it did a better job highlighting the SP catalogue than it did the current SP band though, mostly due to the lack of chemistry.
