i think i've mentioned this before, but steve hyden has the "five-album test" for HOF qualification (you must have 5 truly A albums). i think that they meet this criterion.

I saw an ad for the MSG show that said “we are playing a 2 hour set” and I immediately thought “so three songs…”

They could play Ocean and Thinking of a place for at least an hour and id be okay with it

I can't listen to this album because I have a hard time going past Harmonia's Dream.

Interesting discussion point. I'd like to see him do a rundown of acts in the HOF and who he thinks has met or fallen short of this criteria.

I would absolutely sign on for an hour-long version of "Thinking of a Place."

You should start on track 3. (but I like Harmonia's Dream!)

After realizing how good Yield was, I vividly remember thinking that no matter what happens from here, Pearl Jam is deserving of the RRHoF.

Occasional Rain, the last song on IDLHA, is really good. Maybe the best on the album. I hadn’t really noticed it, probably because the songs leading into it aren’t very engaging, but it’s a great end to the album.
